Jacob shows up in the Frederick County VA tithables under his own name in 1794. No record found in VA after 1797 - for Jacob, or his brothers John (pretty sure went to TN), George, Joseph and Abraham (pretty sure went to OH). Also had sister Barbara (think married Jacob Renner in VA), brother Henry (my ancestor) and sister Christiana (married William Gough in VA).
Their father John's will states: "wherein my children not named in this will are provided for, as by reference thereunto being had, will more fully appear" and then never mentions them again. Henry and Christiana only children named in will.
